Rod O'Connor

Sixtycycles is Rod O'Connor, computer musician, bagpiper, and general sonic enthusuast/reconstructivist. Rod likes banging on metal objects, electronic sounds, organic sounds, and the fact that you can never hear the wind, only the wind moving through other objects. Recent works have included live video feedback on dumpstered televisions, Homemade speakers made from coffee cans, styrofoam, and other discarded consumer material, and most recently the sonification of nerve cell voltage data from mouse brain slices in an epileptic state.
